In the last two years, this community obviously died, but I would like to see it again.

I'm sorry to hear that. xlib isn't a member I'm familiar with, what game is this in... UT2004, ET, AA?

About how things are run. This isn't your normal clan. Gentoo is a linux distribution, and the [gen2] tag is something users of that os can use to find each other. This site was set up for those who regularly play together and want to play more organised games.

Maybe next time you could point him here so he can expain why he's giving us a bad reputation. It appears we're a victim in this too.

I installed Windows XP Home in Qemu, that was pretty cool. Playing around with vb.net 2005 in it. Must admit, I am a little curious about vista considering I make a living from MS software.

Hello,
I have a problem with my quake4 on gentoo.
I have Atholn64 3500+, GF6600GT, 1 GB RAM. Gentoo compiled on AMD64.
When I'm starting single player qauek4 just crash (multiplayer works well). Don't know what to do. Don't want to install windows :/

I'm in class right now, but I'll be home at 6 or so. I'll be able to play then (hopefully, I am still breaking in the new system and I'm trying to lower voltage as much as possible, Dual Core 1.8Ghz at 2.5Ghz, so far only needs 1.44vcore, was at 1.46 and wouldn't budge so I'm thinking she's burning in nicely) providing everything is functional.

I re-installed the servers from scratch, everything should work now.
Next days I'll add missing maps and stuff.

I'll play if we put together a team. I play iCTF just about all of the time when I'm playing UT. Like brian, I cant guarantee my availability for evenings (or afternoons if the games are at your time).
